The Breadfruit Festival is coming to Kahului again!
Maui Nui Botanical Gardens will host the fifth annual Lā ‘Ulu (Breadfruit Day) on Saturday, September 6th, from 9AM to 2 PM! A free event celebrating breadfruit, Hawaiian culture, and, in 2025, the Year of Our Community Forest. Enjoy breadfruit creations by local and pacific island chefs and farmers, an ‘ulu tree and native plant sale, Hawaiian games and cultural activities for young and old, crafts, cooking demonstrations, foods made with ʻulu for sale, and live Hawaiian music and Hula!
